No owner name but author's handwritten,black ink signature - without dedication - to title page and no price-clip to dw/dj.Bright,clean,glossy, colour pictorial artwork by Geoff Hunt, illustrated front of dw/dj with author's capitalised,bright,crisp,embossed gilt-lettered name and capitalised,glossy,embossed,white-lettered title.Spine/backstripwith colour thumbnail detail from front's illustration and similarly coloured+lettered - but flat printed - author name and title,publisher's capitalised, white-lettered name and colour illustrated colophon to foot of same,rear panel of dw/dj with a background and a white-lettered strapline /synopsis.Negligible shelf-wear to edges and corners,inevitable but light pushing at head+ foot of spine,rear panel of dw/dj with some minimal superficial scoring/indents but without penetration to board below.Book with a slight lean,and some adhesive/cloth dye (?) partial bleeding to front gutter of front's endpapers. The book lean/spine roll seems to be a common fault amongst others noted in this particular title.Top edges lightly aged/toned but without noticeable foxing/spotting; contents bright and clean with no dog-ear reading creases to any pages' corners.Publisher's bright crisp,clean, unblemished,generally sharp-cornered,original plain black cloth boards with bright,crisp, blocked gilt lettered spine/backstrip and clean plain white endpapers -front's bleed excepted.
